Midweek Momentum - FOCUS
Hello Great Ones,
I’m Nate the Great! - and this is your Midweek Momentum!
Our focus this week is on that very word - focus.
While there are many definitions for the word focus, here’s one that I’d like to call your attention to:
Focus is the strength and discipline to do ONLY the thing(s) that will help you get the results you want.
Focus is NOT about doing a bunch of different things that make you feel like you’re getting something done.
It’s not about doing only the thing(s) that you like to do.
Focus is about doing the thing(s) that get you where you want to go.
When all the noise in your life gets louder and louder, focus helps you block it out and keep moving forward with purpose.
When life’s never-ending distractions start to add up, focus helps you stay on track, stay the course and keep moving forward.
When doubt starts to enter your mind, focus kicks it right back out of your mind and says “Don’t worry, you’ve got this!”
So today, take a minute and ask yourself this question:
“What should I really be focusing on right now, this very minute?”
Be honest with yourself when you answer that question.
Then give that thing(s) all of your attention, your energy and your effort.
When you do this, you’ll be taking the action steps that move you closer to achieving the goal(s) you want to achieve.
As you take more and more of those steps, you’ll build more and more momentum.
And as you keep building momentum, you’ll become bigger, stronger and greater at doing what you do.
And all because you focus.
Now I think that’s great.
Don’t you?
To OUR Greatness,
Nate the Great!
